Sigh, should I even be surprised anymore? Didn't really expect it to have the substance it did and the raw emotion, but I guess the masses considered it “corny”. Sure, there were a few bad songs but overall this albums is enjoyable. I went into this album not expecting a lot and was surprised because of how good it is. The realest and mosr emotional song on the album and probably the one with the most replay value. I don't usually fuck with love songs but damn, this was real. He references “The Man On My Shoulder” in such an emotional way. I dig the lyrics and the substance on this song. The second half of the song is vibey, but still amazing. His verses are also great lyrically and technically. The hook is so addictive, the best hook on the album. The album ended on a high note because this song is easily one of, if not the best song on this album. “They say great things take time, I think time takes great things away though.” Could definitely see myself listening to this again, so it's on my playlist. This song sounds like a lullaby.Īnother banger. Quadeca, just because ariana copped your flow doesn't mean you have to cop her voice. The beat was sinister and I was really expecting him to rap but this manz started singing. The lyrics were decent too, nothing special. I still liked this song because the beat was really great and Quadeca's flow was so smooth. But still, I liked Quadeca's part.Īgain, Quadeca was amazing on this song but the feature was lackluster. His flow and delivery were so bad which was surprising since he's so good technically on his songs. Nothing special about his verse but I was looking out for Dax's part and I was underwhelmed.

Honestly, Quadeca does have technical skills but he also knows how to carry a song like this. On my playlist.īasically Uh Huh! but Less hype, Better lyrics. His flow and delivery are fucking fire and the lyrics just make it better. It made up for the complete lackluster of songs the last two were. Idk how to explain it better.Īnother unnecessarily long song. He raps for like 30 seconds in the second half in a similar flow which could/should have honestly been on the last track. The only thing I like about this track is the hook. I expected the Sad Frosty dude to ruin the song but his part was not that bad. Not only does Quadeca rap RAP the lyrics are also fucking great. I'm so glad the whole album wasn't vibey and we had songs like this since I know Quadeca can spit and it'd just be a wasted opportunity. I wish he continued spitting tho, I didn't dig the vibey stuff. But the beat was really nice and his rapping in between was good too. The beginning of the song kind of ruined it for me. “All odds were against me like Croatia and I'm Rakitic.” He did well on the hook too, it was sonically pleasing. There was some great wordplay and lyrics too. Can I just say how much I love when artists put their best songs at the start of the album? The best thing about this track was the flow and his delivery was also decent. This was a solid start to the album, The lyrics were great, and I enjoyed this song a lot and even added it to my playlist.Īnother great song.
